Kibera Muchai, Founder of Mololine is dead

The founder of Molo Line Service Limited, Kibera Muchai, is dead.


Kibera, a self-made entrepreneur, died while receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.


In an official statement released by his family on Wednesday, September 15, Kibera passed on after a brief illness.


Taking to her Facebook account, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika expressed her sadness at the loss of such a patriotic and hardworking Kenyan.


“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our patriarch Kibera Muchai who passed away at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital after a brief illness,” Kihika said.


Before the promulgation of The Constitution of Kenya 2010, Kibera served as a Councilor in Molo.


His key accomplishments as a servant leader include advocating for improved roads and sewer system in Molo. He also founded Molo line Sacco, which has transformed the matatu sector.
